Excited about Monsters University

Before this week I was not aware of the cartoon Monster High. I found a Twitter post online that asked for fan art inspired by Monster High. I instantly thought it was referring to Monsters University.
I started drawing straight away as I had many ideas and I am a huge fan of the original Monsters Inc. It wasn't until I had sketched the concept that I realised that the call out for fan art wasn't for Monsters Inc at all.

Although I felt a little silly at first I am glad I got the inspiration to draw this picture and have been inspired to create another of Sully. I guess I am pretty excited for the Monsters University release.
