Creatures of the great hall

Bats, beetles, bones, snakes and spiders. They all come together under the power of their master vampire and turn the great hall into a spectacular setting for the vampire to release his bats into the night.

Bored Destruction

I was day dreaming about robots taking over a city and wondered if there was nothing to stop them or they were just misunderstood and not at all evil, would they simply just not care. There would be no challenge and therefore no reason for being loud and frantic.

Whether he is just a nice guy being picked on or an evil destructive force that has it too easy, this is one bored robot.

I decided to get this one completed enitirely on paper (including shading) before colouring it digitally. Keeping the pencil lines in the final product and not shading over them on screen was a must for this picture. I was glad I did this as it gave it a great texture and made it one of the more unique looks so far this year.

My previous circus freaks drawing also had a similar texture and I am liking how they have turned out. Will try a few more like this.
